We also promote early screening for the new-born babies and other eradication strategies.

Livelihoods improvement through vocational skills, financial literacy, entrepreneurship training, educational scholarships and grants. These strategies will help empower the sickle cell disease patients, their families, caregivers and other community members, for self-sustenance, community development and healthy living.
At Sickle Cell Diseases Eradication Initiative Nigeria, we believe that research and development are crucial to controlling and ultimately eradicating sickle cell disease. Our R&D efforts focus on awareness raising, patients care support and livelihood strategies.
We recognize that volunteers play a vital role within our organization and that their contribution enables us to deliver our services effectively and efficiently. We need people from all walks of life and all communities, who can bring their different skills and experiences to our work.
The manner in which we relate to, and cooperate with, locally based and international partner organisations is crucial to our own purpose of educating and supporting people towards eradicating Sickle Cell disease in our society. We therefore call upon strategic partners for collaborations.
People like you enable SCDEI to educate, campaign, support, research and lobby for sustainable policies and strategies towards the eradication of sickle cell disease. With your help we will raise awareness and support the people affected by sickle cell disease.
